Banyuls-sur-Mer is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. The name of Banyuls is a derivative of the word "bain" (Balnoneum) and is a city built near lakes. Situated in the Mediterranean Sea. This city has a wharf in the form of a rocky island called l'Ile Grosse and has monument in honor to the death people of 1914-1918, done by the Aristide Maillol.
