Three Anchor Bay is a suburb of Cape Town, just outside the city centre between Green Point and Sea Point. On the lower slopes of Signal Hill, Three Anchor Bay is popular for its cosy beach, wide lawns and Sea Point's seaside promenade. Three Anchor Bay is only minutes away from the V&A Waterfront, Green Point Stadium the Atlantic beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton and the Table Mountain cableway.

Three Anchor Bay is a popular beach for sea kayaking and followers of the sport usually paddle out from Three Anchor Bay along towards Clifton beach, in the lee of Table Mountain and Lion's Head, which provide some wonderful views. At different times of the year one can see whales, seals, dolphins and penguins. Three Anchor Bay is but a few minutes from the popular Sea Point promenade, popular with locals and visitors and wonderful for walking, jogging or simply sitting on available benches to drink in the view.
