Situated next to the Thermoelectric Station (CPPE), this is the most frequented beach of the region during summer months, mostly due to its central situation and the warm waters that the station generates. The beach has two legends attached to it: the one of the martyr Saint Thorpe and the city that would exist underneath this sand, and a special fishing embarkation, the Saint Thorpe raft.
