With its imponent Lighthouse, one of the highest in Europe, Barra is one of the most looked for beach during summer time.
Here is the Aveiro river mouth. Also here one can observe the entrance and departure of the colourful and traditional boats, followed by seagulls and they eyes of the families that wait until their fishermen return from the perils of the sea.
Barra offers great conditions for the practice of surf, windsurf, sailing and fishing.
During summer time, the local festivities and all the bars provide a colourful and vibrant to the long nights, making of this one of the most frequented beaches of the region.
