Description:
Red macroalga, with branched stalk,divided into blades with constant breadth. Hasn't veins or nerves. 
Has brownish red color but dichotomous ends are whitish.
It can be confused with G.crenulatus, which is generally taller.
The reproductive structures (cystocarps) are internal.
Found mostly in gloomy and wet rocks.
