Description: Brown algae with one single stalk up to 1 metre long, bushy , cylindrical axis up to 60 cm, usually branched with an indistinguishable apex. Lateral branch systems arising in spiral sequence,up to 60 cm long, showing radial symmetry. Air vesicles often present below the reproductive bodies witch are found on the end of the branches. The greenish or bluish iridescence, when submerged or wet, is the distinguishable caracteristic of this specie.
