Description: Seaweed coreácea with a strong, straight stem, settling to the substrate by their basal part with irregular rhizoidal branches. their leaves are are oval, flattened and have a wavy edge and midrib.
Usually has a spherical vesicle by branch with 5-8mm, which is responsible for maintaining the erect algae in the water. Features a dark brown color and can grow up to 70cm tall.
