Pelvetia caniculata is a brown seaweed of the Phaeophyceae class very common in Europe for which was originally appointed by basionym canaliculatus Fucus Linnaeus. It can grow to a maximum length of 15 cm and can appear extremities swollen where are located their reproductive organs. Its branches form an irregular bifurcation thick, and features a dark brown when dried color and underwater may appear yellow and olive green. |
