Specimen collected in Berlengas, Portugal by J. Daveau. This is very abundant in southwest of the island in “Cova do Sono”. This specimen is found in "Folder 19".

Description: |
Originally the specimen was identified as Cystoseira ericoides (Linnaeus) C.Agardh (1820) by J.Daveaux in 1883. After that, J.E.M Rodrigues, in February of 1963, in Coimbra, was identified it as Cystoseira tamariscifolia (Hudson) Papenfuss (1950), being this name the currently accepted one. The specimen has the number 1 on its Herbarium Institut Botanic Unversitatis Conimbrigensis label. Originalmente o espécime foi identificado como Cystoseira ericoides (Linnaeus) C.Agardh (1820) por J.Daveaux em 1883. Posteriormente, J.E.M. Rodrigues a Fevereiro de 1963 em Coimbra, identificou-o como Cystoseira tamariscifolia (Hudson) Papenfuss (1950), sendo o nome actualmente aceite. O espécime possui o número 1 na etiqueta Herbarium Institut Botanic Unversitatis Conimbrigensis. |
