Specimen originally identified as Cystoseira barbata (Good & woodw.) Agardh. Their correct identification, performed by Leonel Pereira, is Cystoseira usneoides (Linnaeus) M. Roberts, according publication of Roberts, M. (1968). Taxonomic and nomenclatural notes on the genus Cystoseira C. Ag.Journal of the Linnean Society of London, Botany 60: 251-264, 5 plates. It is a sample too fragmented. This specimen is found in "Folder 18". Espécime identificado originalmente como Cystoseira barbata (Good & woodw.) Agardh. A sua identificação correcta, efectuada por Leonel Pereira, é Cystoseira usneoides (Linnaeus) M. Roberts, segundo a publicação de Roberts, M. (1968).
