Specimen originally identified as Cystoseira hoppeii Ag. β aurantia Kg.. Your identification has been reviewed by R. Lami for Cystoseira barbata (Good & Woodward.) Agardh var. hopii. However, their correct identification, performed by Leonel Pereira, is Cystoseira usneoides (Linnaeus) M. Roberts, according publication of Roberts, M. (1968). Taxonomic and nomenclatural notes on the genus Cystoseira C. Ag.Journal of the Linnean Society of London, Botany 60: 251-264, 5 plates. Specimen has the No. 594 on the tag “Flora Lusitanica – Soc. Brot. 5º anno”. This specimen is found in "Folder 18".
