Specimens originally identified as Cystoseira barbata/concatenata Ag.. Your identification has been reviewed by R. Lami for Cystoseira barbata (Good & Woodward.) Agardh. However, their correct identification, performed by Leonel Pereira, is Cystoseira usneoides (Linnaeus) M. Roberts, according publication of Roberts, M. (1968). Taxonomic and nomenclatural notes on the genus Cystoseira C. Ag.Journal of the Linnean Society of London, Botany 60: 251-264, 5 plates.
