Specimen identified originally as Cystoseira fibrosa Ag.. Their classification valid today, reviewed by Leonel Pereira, is Cystoseira baccata (Gmel.) Silva (whose synonym is Cystoseira fibrosa (Huds.) C. Agardh), according publication of Silva, P.C. (1952). A review of nomenclatural conservation in the algae from the point of view of the type method. University of California Publications in Botany 25: 241-323. It is a copy of the publication "Le Jolis-Algues marines of Cherbourg". This specimen is found in "Folder 18".
