Description:

Erect and calcified, around 50mm high with a whitish-pink to reddish lilac tone. Has a compressed axis and a slightly flattened and wider top in comparison with the bottom. Jointed thallus with connections found between 1 to 3 joints. Small articulated fronds, arrangement like a fish’s bone. Often found in very dense and flat clusters, with a base ranging from repeatedly pinnate to discoid.
