Notes: Amanda Padrão, Mafalda Almeida. Formentera located in Ibiza, Spain is the smaller and southerly island of the PItiusic Islands group in the Mediterranean sea.The island has low relief, warm temperate with the hightest temperatures of all the islands.
Description:

When young, the frond has a thin and leafy aspect but becomes concave and with lactiniate or irregular margin as the specimen matures. The two surfaces (inner and outer) have diferent aspects: the inner is more bright and slimish and the outer has a mixture of brown and olive green. Small, fine, 3-5mm apart hairs in the outer margin and outer surface.
