Description: An intertidal brown seaweed, found on the high shore. It grows up to 40cm and live for up 4 years. The species can tolerate a high level of desiccation. Fucus spiralis is hermaphroditic. 
Cabo do Mundo is a portuguese beach which water temperature round 19ºC at Summer and 9ºC at Winter.
