Notes: Inês Tomás e Laura Domingues. Eskifjördur, Iceland. This site is characterized by a mouth area, in which flow the waters of the thaw. It is an area with a small population of about 1,000 inhabitants being difficult to access, since it is surrounded by mountains. The collection may become difficult because of the relief of the area , so it is advisable tired appropriate.
Description: Cartilaginous callus 10 to 50 cm in length, divided into blades, with the central rib and dichotomous branching, is fixed to the substrate by a small disc, presents receptacles in the apical zones and without pneumatocysts. Common name: bodelha, fava-do-mar (portuguese).
