Notes: Alexandra Jesus e Ana Pereira Porto Covo, Sines, Portugal Porto Covo is a town of Sines, in Setubal. This is considered a dream destination for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. In addition, fishing is a common activity in this zone. Porto Covo also has another added value that consists of the Ilha do Pessegueiro, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. It is absolutely fantastic the diversity of beaches that are protected by ancient rocks that resist erosion, forming cliffs that give personality to this coast. The biodiversity of the dunes is admirable, with a mix of colors and absolutely extraordinary shapes. Plants have a perfect adaptation to this hostile environment, taking into account the climatic conditions (They survive without fresh water and with strong winds).
