Notes: Diana Adao Ana Mafalda Marques Porto Covo, Sines, Portugal The village of Porto Covo is located in Sines and it was created in december 31 of 1984. In the middle of the XVIII century, it was nothing but a small and cosy place that slowly developed above a cliff. Nowadays it is known for its beautiful beaches such as Praia Grande and Praia do Espingardeiro which makes this village an extremely interesting place for tourism.
Description:
Cystoseira humilis is a brown algae that is part of Sargassaceae family, mostly observed in Europe Atlantic Islands, Africa and South-west Asia. It has highly differentiated apical and basal regions, is characterized by the presence of air-vesicles, long axis and it usually grows on the edges of branches.
