The seawater is warm, calm and crystal clear. This beach has a Mediterranean climate throughout the entire year.
Description:
Codium adhaerens is a marine specie that exist in larger amount in the Mediterranean Sea. This algae is often confused with Codium effusum since they share similar external morphology. It features a dark green thallus , spongy , prostrate , irregularly shaped and very adherent to the bedrock . Is between 5-10mm thick. Has a gelatinous and smooth texture to the touch. This algae is organized into a set of entangled ceonocytic filaments showing the ends narrow and elongated utricles, very close to each other.
