Notes: Luís Perpétuo, João Lopes ----- Cala Domingos, Cales de Mallorca, Mallorca, Spain ----- The manageable resort is located on the east coast between Porto Cristo and Porto Colom just north of Cala Murada. The center of town is located on a limestone formation which is traversed at sea level on a number of caves. Mostly you can swim to enter these caves. Several middle-class hotels and many apartment complexes dominate the place. Several restaurants, bars and shops are located throughout the city, there are two miniature golf courses, tennis courts, etc. To the area include more embedded in rock formations sandy beach coves Cala Domingo Gran, Cala Domingo Petits and Cala Antena framed. These three bays are carriers of the Blue Flag, a conferred annually Eco label for excellent bathing water quality and beach service. Located in the village is tucked away the creek Cala Romaguera. North of Cala Antena is followed by another belonging to the urbanization coves that are only accessible on foot or by boat. The entire area is considered the cave richest region of Mallorca. Most caves are still unexplored. According to current knowledge, the Cova des Pirata (pirate cave next to the Cala Falcó with underground salt lakes) with about 800 meters in length and connected to the pirate cave Cova des Pont with about 1075 meters in length, the largest caves in this area.
Description:
It is an alga with color between red and purple. With variable size and stem that stands out from the rest alga 
for its thickness. The ribs that connect the stem to the leaves are also clearly visible.
The seaweed sheets are of small size compared to the total size of fine appearance, with the ends with less 
bright colors that the remaining sheet (discolored). Still add the fact that the leaves are present predominantly 
in a transverse orientation with respect to the algae.
