Description: |
The thallus is arborescent, erect, and thick, attached by an encrusting base, and reaches a height of 3 to 7 cm. It features segmented structure with genicula and intergenicula, and exhibits regular dichotomous branching. The intergenicula are cylindrical and slightly elongated, widening at the points where lateral branches insert. The conceptacles are terminal, stalked, and spheroidal. This epiphytic species is found from the surface down to 20 meters deep and has a pale yellowish-pink color. |
