Description: |
Thallus heavily calcified, forming clumps, ivory to pale pink or purple (Image 1). Branches cylindrical, 1-2 mm wide. Branching dichotomous. Joints (genicula) not swollen and rarely found at branching dichotomies. Original publication: Lamouroux, J.V.F. (1816).
