Notes: Fábio Mesquita; Joana Perdigão Palma Nova Bay, Mallorca, Spain Palma Nova bay is located between Palma Nova and Magaluf. The waters are known by highs temperatures and white sands, which makes Palma Nova very appreciated by tourists.
Description:

Dictyota divaricata is a brown algae. Usually this specie prefer warmer waters more than other brown algae. Dictoyta divaricata presents a greenish-brown thin stalk and bifurcations throughout its structure. These bifurcations are becoming more and more reduced from the stem to the edges, which are thin and have a small diameter.
