Notes: Soraia Freitas, Joćo SIlva; Portinatx, Ibiza, Spain - this local is a small village in the north of the Island of Ibiza. Portinatx has been praised for being the most beautiful village in the Island with warm seas off of its small beaches that remain shallow for some distance, and with several shops and bars. The surrounding countryside is heavily forested.
Description:

Chondria Capilaris is a red algae that belongs to the Rhodophyta phylum. It has a cylindrical stem with a height between 5 and 25 cm with a rizoidal baseline system, measuring 2 to 4 mm in diameter and with a principal axis between 0.8 to 1.2 mm in diameter. It has an irregular embranchment, its apexes are acute and around them there are rizodermis (small pelage).
