Notes: Adriana Valente & Ana Carolina Mendes ----- Cala Domingos, Cales de Mallorca, Mallorca, Spain -----Mallorca island has a Mediterranean climate. Summers are hot and dry, with maximum temperatures of 29 °C and minimum of 15 ºC. Sea water temperature reaches 25 ºC in August, between June and October the temperature is higher than 21 ºC, Cala Domingos beach is a rocky beach with calm and crystalline water.
Description:

The thallus is loosely intertwined, brown, regularly forking, with fork-angles usually wide (>90º), width of thallus-sections varying to 3 mm at the base, then abruptly narrowing to less than o.5 mm. Rhizoidal holdfast. Brown color and size 3 to 7 cm long. Dictyota divaricata is a marine species
