The thallus is loosely intertwined, brown, regularly forking, with fork-angles usually wide (>90º), width of thallus-sections varying to 3 mm at the base, then abruptly narrowing to less than o.5 mm. Rhizoidal holdfast. Brown color and size 3 to 7 cm long. Dictyota divaricata is a marine species |
