Undaria pinnatifida from the family Alariaceae it's a large brown seaweed. Has a large dark green leaf blade, which is the structure that stands out most in the algae, has a stipe that functions as a stem, and rhizoids that anchor it to rocky substrates. The sample in question is around 25cm long and was collected by Dinis Hipólito in Buarcos, Portugal.
