Description:
Gelidium pulchellum is a marine species typically found in tidal pools, where light levels and water volume fluctuate significantly with the tides. It naturally occurs along the northeastern Atlantic coast, from Morocco to the United Kingdom.
This specimen measures approximately 6.3 cm in height and 8.2 cm in length. In its natural habitat, Gelidium pulchellum exhibits irregular branching pairs along its main axes, displaying a rich, deep red color. It typically grows attached to rock substrates compried of sand-like sediments.
