This 5 cm specimen of Gracilaria multipartita is a red algae collected in the coastal waters of Buarcos bae. Its fronds are flat, fan-shaped, and irregularly lobed. The branches have a slightly gelatinous texture. The color ranges after dried is a reddish brown but at the date of collection it was dark red. |
