Description:

Unidaria pinnatifida, found in coastal waters of Figueira da Foz in Portugal, is a brown alga from the order Laminariales. This species has blade-like structures that resemble leaves. Its color ranges from olive-green to dark brown, depending on the age and the sunlight exposure. Unidaria pinnatifida usually atatches itself to rocks with na anchoring structure, resembling a small root, which allows it to withstand strong ocean currents.
