Description: Greenish brown seaweed from the classe Phaeophyceeae, does not origate from Portugal but from Pacific. Clearly distinguishes between the rhizoids, the strain and the lamina. Is preferably found in deep oceanic areas and can reach up to around 1,5 meters in length. Sold commercially as "wakame", this seaweed has a really smooth texture that is pleasant to the taste of those who want to include seaweed in their diet.
