Description:
This red seaweed characterized by the presence of protuberances called papillae, which give it a rough appearance. Furthermore, the alga is structurally rigid yet flexible, exhibiting a cartilaginous consistency. The frond of this alga displays curvatures and approximate symmetry in its various branches; in addition, the tips are typically beak-shaped or slightly rounded.
