Red algae with 8cm of width, cartilaginous and dichotomously branched thallus. Flat, reddish long blades arranged like a fan, concave with rounded tips. Presence of a basal disc that provides fixation to the substrate.

Texture is firm, flexible, and resilient, characteristic of carrageenan‑rich tissues.
